Your challenge:

As a lawyer (m/f/d) in the EPC Division of Hanwha Q CELLS, you become part of a multidisciplinary and international team of specialists in Engineering, Project Management, Sales, Finance and Law. The focus of the legal tasks is to provide legal advice relating to the development, acquisition, construction and financing of solar power plants in Europe. The position is located in Berlin and available on short notice.

Your responsibilities:Your qualifications:
  • Main focus of your work will be on drafting, reviewing and negotiating project development-, construction-, maintenance- and subcontractor contracts on an international level.
  • You provide legal advice in relation to M&A transactions and project finance.
  • You participate in contract negotiations.
  • You support the execution of due diligences as well as portfolio management.
  • You communicate with contract partners and authorities on legal topics.
  • You control and coordinate external law offices in the relevant jurisdiction.
  • You are a lawyer or solicitor (m/f/d) with a master degree or similar, obtained in Germany or abroad.
  • You have work experience of at least 2-3 years in an international law firm and/or in-house.
  • You have experience in either the photovoltaic or construction sector or both.
  • You are interested in commercial law, especially in the field of renewable energies.
  • You are characterized by a systematic, analytical approach and goal orientation.
  • You are a true team player and enjoy to work in a multidisciplinary team.
  • You have good MS Office skills.
  • Portuguese and/or Spanish skills are needed for this position. Very good spoken and written English is also a must. German helpful but not required.
