Your Mission

As a Staff Engineer, you will be the technical hub of our team. You will combine deep technical expertise with strategic thinking and team orientation.

You take ownership for interfaces and new features – in close coordination with Product and Engineering Manager

  • Actively develop our iPad app (React Native) or our backend services (Ruby on Rails) – with a focus on code quality, scalability, and user experience
  • Take ownership of interface development and the design of a new core product component – closely coordinating with Product Owners and the Engineering Manager
  • Serve as a technical go-to person and provide coaching for other developers when needed
  • Contribute to planning and documentation – with realistic estimates and architectural foresight


What you have to offer

  • 5+ years of experience in professional software development, ideally with Rails or React (Native)
  • You maintain an overview even in complex system landscapes
  • You write clean, tested code and know the importance of stable, well-documented APIs
  • Native-level German skills and the ability to work comfortably in an English-speaking team
  • A remote-first mindset with strong communication skills and appreciation for documentation
  • An open, constructive approach to feedback and a drive to continuously improve our product and
    processes
